Miss Jo
Miss Jo brings a wealth of teaching experience and a deep passion for dance to her very own school—an exciting new chapter after 17 years at Lucy Lovick Dance Studio in South East London. Having trained from the age of six and qualified through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), she has successfully guided countless students through exams, competitions, and stage performances with care and encouragement.
A proud Ebbsfleet Garden City resident since 2019, Miss Jo is dedicated to sharing the joy of dance with her local community. Her teaching style focuses on building strong technical foundations while helping each student flourish in confidence, creativity, and skill—all within a safe and supportive space.
A lifelong learner, Miss Jo continues to grow professionally, regularly attending courses to ensure her syllabus knowledge and teaching methods stay fresh and relevant. She is also trained in Progressing Ballet Technique, has an Enhanced DBS check, is fully insured, First Aid and Designated Safeguarding Lead trained.

Our Story
JA Dance School was founded in 2025 with a heartfelt vision: to bring the joy of dance to the local community. As we prepare to open our doors, we are creating a welcoming and inclusive space where dancers of all ages and abilities can feel at home.
Led by our founder, Miss Jo Asher—who brings over 17 years of dance teaching experience—our school is built on the values of Develop, Nurture, Inspire. These principles guide every step we take; from the way we teach to the way we connect with our dancers and their families.
Our goal is to provide a secure and supportive environment where students can develop their skills, nurture their creativity, and feel inspired to express themselves through the joy and art of dance.
Through this approach, we aim to positively influence the lives of our students for many years to come, building a community that celebrates individuality, encourages progress, and shares a passion for movement.

Our classes are held in a secure, spacious primary school hall.
Entry and exit are managed via a buzzer system for added safety.
Ample free parking is available just outside the venue.
